On Pentecost Sunday, Alan Thomson and a colleague from Lee Boyd Architects, gave a presentation of the proposed extension to the church providing more toilets including one with disabled access, and a small meeting room and drinks preparation area. This was very well delivered showing plans, explaining how they were arrived at, the possibilities explored in the process, AI generated images and the expected cost. The next steps such as applying for planning and looking for grant possibilities were gone into.
There was time for questions and we came away with a clear idea of the proposal and how it was to be achieved. Planning is going forward and a team are looking at grant possibilities.
