250th Patronal Festival Celebration

written by timball

On June 30th, a year later than expected (!), Rt Rev John Armes, Bishop of Edinburgh came to the main service at Holy Trinity to celebrate our 250th (or rather our 251st) anniversary of our beautiful church building. The church, despite restrictions, was as packed as it could have been. Singing was still not allowed, but that didn’t stop us celebrating in fine style. It was wonderful to be together again and to give thanks for the gift of our church building and the life of our church. We remembered clergy and church members past, and looked forward to the next chapter in our history. Here’s to another 250 years!
