Creator God,
from life’s dawning until it’s ending,
we live and move in the shadow of your protective love,
in anxiety and tranquility, in sorrow and in joy,
may we sense the presence of your shielding hand,
in our journeying and our resting places, may we come to know you,
our loving Father, and the shepherd and the guide of our souls,
For Jesus’ sake we pray.
