BBQ to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and Pentecost 2022
The day dawned sunny and fair for the celebrations to go ahead! It was the day the whole country was joining with the Queen’s wonderful achievement of 70 years on the throne: the Platinum Jubilee. It was also the Day of Pentecost when we remembered the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all believers – a sharing and gift which is still changing lives and hearts today. The joyful service was followed by a really sociable coffee time and then a BBQ lunch, brilliantly cooked by Rob and Richard and accompanied by the most wonderful array of salads and, of course, pudding. As usual abundance was the name of the game!
It was lovely to share quality time with so many – and to see visitors being made welcome and becoming part of the company. Roll on next year!”
